Best Fit takes a new order (one time, callback, initial, etc.) and finds the optimal openings in one or more technicians, or from a group of technicians with a certain skill or license level and gives the CSR a grid of opportunities, sorted by the least real-time drive time impact by inserting it into orders, and Best Fit will rearrange eligible orders as need be to keep an optimized schedule. Blu Star offers comprehensive reporting on locations, orders, schedules, daily work reports, and key performance indicators like job completion rates, revenue, technician productivity, etc. What’s more, you can save a report as a favorite, and you can schedule your favorites to run daily, weekly, or monthly so the report is run off hours, waiting for you in the morning. We want to keep your office employees efficient and in the know.

Yes in four ways. Blu Star the website for office staff has been rebuilt in 2024 to be responsive, meaning it runs well on a desktop with a large monitor, laptop, tablet, or phone. In addition, Blu Star’s Customer Portal for your customers is fully responsive. And unique to Blu Star, Blu Star’s Tech Portal is fully responsive as well. So yes - everything we do is mobile-friendly. The fourth mobile-friendly way is Blu Star Mobile, it is an app for iOS and Android devices. Blu Star Mobile is mature (we are about to release our 41st major release since 2015), but always improving too. Technicians can access job details, customer records, and service histories directly from their mobile devices. They can update job statuses, collect digital signatures, even take photos, and accept payments on the spot, all while keeping the office informed in real-time. They can also access Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specific pests, ensuring they have the necessary information and protocols at their fingertips. Additionally, Blu Star’s mobile app works even when there is no or weak internet connection, like in rural areas, around tall downtowns, or inside large buildings with a lot of concrete and steel. Technicians can continue working offline, and the system will automatically sync data once the connection is restored. This ensures that your team stays productive, no matter where they are.

Blu Star simplifies customer management by centralizing all customer data, including service histories, preferences, and contact information. Plus technicians in the field can even process payments (CC or ACH) in the field, reducing the time between job completion and payment collection.
